The xx is one of the best new bands of the millineum. We were lucky enough to catch them near the ground floor of what has been a huge year for the group and talk to them a little about how crazy it's all been. Since this show, The xx has won the hugely prestigious Mercury Prize, further cementing their standing as one of the UK's best. The xx sing tender songs in hushed tones with gripping melodies and beats. Their light show was incredible, to boot.
We Have Signal is APT's Emmy-winning live music program filmed exclusively at the BottleTree Cafe; in Birmingham, AL. The series features new and innovative bands from around the state, the country and even the world. A new episode of We Have Signal airs weekly at 10PM on Thursday nights, followed by encore presentation of the previous week's episode at 10:30. Each week's new episode also airs at 11PM on Sunday evening.
