The Wedding Present's frontman, David Gedge, has a hugely storied career in music spanning 25 years. One of legendary BBC 1 DJ John Peel's favorite songwriters, Gedge and The Wedding Present have been through several incarnations, including a stint as an entirely different band, Cinerama. The songs are sophisticated, intensely emotional musings on loves gone right and wrong over a perfectly crafted maelstrom of guitars. Originally from Leeds, England, the band now split the US and UK as home.

We Have Signal is APT's Emmy-winning live music program filmed exclusively at the BottleTree Cafe; in Birmingham, AL. The series features new and innovative bands from around the state, the country and even the world. A new episode of We Have Signal airs weekly at 10PM on Thursday nights, followed by encore presentation of the previous week's episode at 10:30. Each week's new episode also airs at 11PM on Sunday evening.
