The Weakerthans are a four-(sometimes six)-piece band from Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada), and they formed their blended style of punk, rock, folk, and country sonnets in 1997. Having released five studio albums with the latest being a 2010 collaboration with Canadian singer-songwriter Jim Bryson, their progressively political personality and tunes have garnered international attention from all walks of life. Known for their lyrical ingenuity and honesty, The Weakerthans carve a melodic and introspective path fit for the souls of prairie farmers as well as the revolutionary hearts of punk bandits.

We Have Signal is APT's Emmy-winning live music program filmed exclusively at the BottleTree Cafe; in Birmingham, AL. The series features new and innovative bands from around the state, the country and even the world. A new episode of We Have Signal airs weekly at 10PM on Thursday nights, followed by encore presentation of the previous week's episode at 10:30. Each week's new episode also airs at 11PM on Sunday evening.
