Polvo has been cited as one of the most influential bands of the 1990's. Their angular guitar attack is legendary and has rarely been improved upon. After an extended hiatus for most of the aughts, Polvo decided to get the band back together - not just to milk a little tour money out of a reunion but also to record one of the best albums of 2009, In Prism. They were also exceptionally kind and gracious during our session. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
We Have Signal is APT's Emmy-winning live music program filmed exclusively at the BottleTree Cafe; in Birmingham, AL. The series features new and innovative bands from around the state, the country and even the world. A new episode of We Have Signal airs weekly at 10PM on Thursday nights, followed by encore presentation of the previous week's episode at 10:30. Each week's new episode also airs at 11PM on Sunday evening.
